Prince William, Princess Catherine and Harry had an unplanned royal reunion in New York
As royal fans around the world hope for a meeting between Prince Harry and Prince William, Princess Catherine will be in New York City next month.
In a chance of a reunion after years of tension, Prince Harry announced on Tuesday that he will be in New York for the United Nations General Assembly’s high-profile climate week from September 22 to September 29.
Harry’s visit is aimed at highlighting a number of his patronages and humanitarian efforts, including support for his organization, Archewell, which he founded in 2020 with Meghan Markle.
His schedule includes activities with organizations such as African Parks, The Halo Trust, The Diana Award and Tralis. In addition, the Archewell Foundation will benefit from his activities.
Interestingly, Prince William and Catherine will also be in attendance at this important event. The Earthshot Prize Innovation Summit will be held on September 24 at the Plaza Hotel in Manhattan. The competition, which William founded in 2020, aims to promote sustainable solutions to pressing environmental issues, including conservation and climate change.
He plans to award £1 million in prizes across five categories through 2030. While William and Catherine’s attendance has not been confirmed, many royal watchers are hoping he will attend, as he did last year. However, it remains uncertain whether he will meet Harry, especially since they have not spoken for so long.
Sources have described the ongoing split as sad, noting that William and Catherine have had pressing family issues this year, including health issues affecting his father and wife. Despite the separation, Harry has been open about wanting to reconnect with his family. He expressed his affection for William in an interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Acknowledging their shared experiences while acknowledging their current divergent paths. Meanwhile, Prince William recently surprised fans by shaving his beard, with some joking that he was lamenting the loss of his beard. Despite concerns about his appearance, the focus on his beard has become a topic of fun among royal enthusiasts.
