Meghan Markle’s new brand hits major milestone as Duchess is ‘ready for action’

Meghan Markle is ‘ready for action’’s new business, American Riviera Orchard, has hit a major milestone and the Duchess of Sussex is reportedly set to “re-enter the influencer scene”

Meghan Markle is set to “re-enter the influencer scene” as her new venture, American Riviera Orchard, celebrates a big achievement.

The former royal launched her brand on March 14, the same day Prince Harry, her husband, virtually attended the Diana Legacy Award ceremony instead of being there in person, which could have led to an uncomfortable encounter with his brother, Prince William.

Meghan shared a high-quality promotional video on her new Instagram account’s story feed and then left it inactive for two weeks.

Now, with more than half a million followers, insiders say she’s ready to get back into action, and the account’s activity might even match her previous success with The Tig.

Her official @americanrivieraorchard page has been verified by Meta with a celebrity-style blue tick, allowing Meghan to use her large following to promote her new product line and campaigns.

Even though that’s still way less than the followers on Harry and Meghan’s old @sussexroyal feed, she can still use all those people to push her new products.

New York-based PR expert Courtney Haywood-Ford told the Mirror US: “It’s definitely something to keep an eye on. Her verified account and sizable following suggest that there’s potential for her to re-enter the influencer scene. Plus let’s be clear Meghan Markle always had a sense of fashion and style before she married Harry.”

The principal at Courtney Haywood Agency Partners added: “Meghan recently voiced concerns about the downsides of social media, so her return might raise eyebrows. However, people can change their views over time, so perhaps her comeback signifies a shift in approach,” they said, teasing what Meghan might get up to on her Instagram, reports the Mirror US.

“Fans might anticipate genuine, relatable posts that resonate with them, much like her previous work with The Tig. Keeping things transparent, authentic, and focused on meaningful connections could help maintain a positive public image,” Courtney said.

Meghan’s business has recently gained its first A-list celebrity fan, and it seems she may have been invited to appear on the popular reality TV show, The Kardashians. This is because her latest venture has caught the eye of Kris Jenner, the family’s manager.

Kris Jenner is the first star to follow Meghan’s new Instagram page, joining nearly 600,000 others. Meghan’s Instagram appears to be similar to her old blog, The Tig, which she stopped writing in 2017 when she was preparing to marry Prince Harry and enter life as a member of the Royal Family.

In a video, we see Meghan at her large Montecito home, arranging beautiful white flowers in a vase, cooking delicious food in her kitchen, and playing with her dog. The Instagram account for Meghan’s company states “by Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex” and informs the world that the business was established in 2024.

There is also a website for the business, americanriviera.com. Visitors to the site can join a waiting list, but not much more information is provided.

Upon signing up, you receive a message stating, “Yes, I would love you to be the first to know about products, availability, and updates from American Riviera Orchard.”
