Taking time out of their Easter vacation, the Prince and Princess of Wales shared a series of social media posts showcasing some of their most significant royal engagements and moments from March.
The social media team for Prince William and Princess Catherine posted a number of images and short videos to Instagram Stories over the weekend, referring to them as a “March rewind.”
William, 41, and Catherine, 42, mentioned St. David’s Day celebrations, honoring their Welsh regiments, the Earthshot Prize launchpad, Commonwealth Day 2024, meeting bright young people, commemorating the Diana Award’s 25 years, St. Patrick’s Day, and addressing homelessness in Sheffield as some of the highlights.”
Additionally, the royal couple honored Princess Catherine’s incredibly poignant message about her cancer diagnosis, which they captioned “A message from Catherine, The Princess of Wales.”
A similar update was shared on X, the former Twitter platform, where each event was featured in a separate “tweet.” This unique’rewind’ feature was only unveiled by William and Catherine in October 2023. Royal fans have supported the idea from the beginning and expressed gratitude to the royal couple for their succinct round-ups.
One royal fan wrote in response to their March synopsis: “I really adore the rewinds. “Rewinds are greatly appreciated, thank you,” one person wrote, while another said, “Thinking of all of you.”
Following the start of their exclusive Easter break with their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, Prince William and Princess Catherine posted a message on social media.
After Catherine’s “shock” health announcement, the family is reportedly planning to spend some time away from the public eye at their country home, Anmer Hall in Norfolk, which is close to the Sandringham Estate, according to The Telegraph.

The mother-of-three made an emotional video message appearance last week, disclosing that she had started preventative chemotherapy in late February. Although Catherine’s major surgery in January was initially thought to be non-cancerous, she later disclosed that tests had revealed the presence of cancer.
“William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family, as this came as a huge shock of course. It has taken some time, as you can imagine. I had to take some time off after a major surgery before I could begin my treatment,” the royal said.
She went on to say: “But, most importantly, it has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louis in a way that is appropriate for them, and to reassure them that I am going to be ok.”
At this time of year, the Wales family usually withdraws to Norfolk. They will probably be living at their second residence, Anmer Hall, until the middle of April, when William resumes his royal duties and the kids go back to Lambrook for the summer term.
