Prince Harry has “made his position clear” about wanting to be “back in the thick of it” and attend royal engagements in the UK, a royal commentator has claimed.

Gearing up for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, a cause close to Harry’s heart, the Prince is set to give a speech to commemorate the event, which will take place on May 8, at St Paul’s Cathedral.

In an opinion piece for Eessonews24.com, Nathan Kay wrote: “The grenades have been coming thick and fast from across the pond for years now, but the Sussexes still seem hellbent on forcing their way back into Britain whether we like it or not.”

Referencing Harry and Meghan’s criticisms of the Royal Family and the release of author, Omid Scobie’s book, EndGame, the expert expressed how the duo simply “can’t be trusted”.

It is thought Meghan will join Harry for his next UK visit, despite Scobie claiming Meghan “never really felt at home” in the UK and “never wants to step foot in England again.”

Royal writer Tom Quinn believes Harry will likely come back to the UK, as not attending the event could highlight his tense relationship with his brother, Prince William.

Speaking to The Mirror, he said: “Barring a major upset, Harry will certainly return to the UK for the Invictus games in May it’s his baby.

“If he decides not to come, it will take some explaining, because everyone will assume it’s because he doesn’t want the awkwardness of having to meet his brother or having to choose not to meet him.”

The Prince shared his thoughts on returning to the UK with Good Morning America during his visit to Whistler for the ‘one year to go’ preparation event ahead of the Invictus Games.

During the interview, he did not comment on his father, King Charles’s, recent cancer diagnosis but said: “I’ve got other trips planned that will take me through the UK, or back to the UK, and so I’ll stop in and see my family as much as I can.”

Harry and Meghan have been estranged from the Firm ever since they moved to the US, and have only returned to British shores a handful of times.

They currently live in a Montecito mansion in Los Angeles, California, with their two children, Prince Archie, four, and Princess Lilibet, two.

Harry’s last UK visit was a whirlwind, swift trip back to see his father, a visit which lasted less than 25-hours, after Charles announced he was receiving treatment for cancer in a shock diagnosis.

Father and son were understoof to have had a brief chat inside Clarence House before Harry departed and hopped on a place back to LAX airport in California.
