Catherine Gave Brother James Surprise & Very Special Gift On His Birthday Amid Cancer Update ❤️
The Princess of Wales may be enjoying time with her family this Easter holiday, but ahead of the festivities, the beloved royal is celebrating her brother James Middleton’s birthday in a poignant nod to his well-publicized struggles with depression and dyslexia.
To mark the occasion of his birthday, James Middleton has revealed a fantastic and thoughtful gift that he received from his older sister, Princess Catherine.
In the wake of Princess’s cancer diagnosis, a story of silent support emerged within the confines of the Middleton family, where Pippa and James Middleton, Katherine’s siblings, quietly became the unsung heroes of their battle.
James Middleton, who has very rarely commented on his relationship with his sister Katherine in public, posted a message of support to the princess hours after her video message was released.
Alongside his poignant words, the father of one shared a previously unseen childhood photograph of himself alongside the princess.
In the past, the entrepreneur has opened up about struggles with depression and about how his family has been there to help him through it. On his Instagram page, with a fascinating video of him practicing beekeeping, he revealed that he received a fantastic beekeeping gift from his older sisters, Pippa and Katherine, as well as the trio’s parents, Carol and Michael Middleton.
Expressing his love for the hobby, in his recent essay in the Daily Mail, he wrote, “They clubbed together to buy what for me was the most fantastic birthday gift imaginable: a delivery event arrived with a large buzzing box with a cautionary label ‘live bees inside.’ It was the nucleus to start off my colony, 1,000 bug fast bees.” Since then, James has maintained the beehives and has even planted a wildflower meadow close to the hives with flowers to bee love. All in all, it’s had a powerful effect on his mental health.
Although details of how James will be marking the day have been kept under wraps, one thing is for sure: the businessman will be marking the day with his wife, Alizee, and their pet dogs. Known as being very close to the Wales family, they were recently pictured visiting her at Wier Adelade Cottage, nestled amidst a serene landscape. Wier provided a tranquil setting for the Middleton family to gather and offer their strength to stand by Katherine’s side throughout her treatment journey.
“Today is my birthday, and I’m celebrating with my wonderful Elzy and, of course, all the dogs,” James posted. James’s younger brother also opened up about the support his furry friends have given him during the most troubled times in his life, and in the case of Spaniel Al, even helped him to find love. He previously said in a rare interview that the princess is blossoming in her role as future queen. “She’s my sister, and I see her as my sister. I’m extremely proud, and I’m always taken aback by how much she does do, and this always continues to stay at the forefront of my mind. But to be honest, she’s my sister, so I know all of her quirks and everything, and to see her blossoming in that role, I’m very proud of her.”
James and his wife welcomed their first son, Enigo, into the world in October last year. The couple haven’t been spotted out and about much since then, unsurprisingly for new parents who already have five dogs to look after. The new parents were pictured enjoying a stroll with their newborn in London’s Notting Hill, and it appears that James’s sister, the Princess of Wales, has given them an incredible gift.
James was seen pushing his little one in a Navy Silver Cross pram, identical to one that his sister was once seen using when Prince George was born. The Silver Cross Sleepover Elegance is considered the Rolls-Royce of prams and features a quilted exterior. It comes complete with a super soft pram liner and breathable mattress. The luxurious buggy isn’t the only Silver Cross model owned by Catherine; the princess was also seen pushing a £1,600 Silver Cross Balmoral buggy at her daughter Charlotte’s christening in Sandringham, Norfolk, in 2015.
