Meghan Markle appeared to win over the late Queen Elizabeth II during their first meeting.
During their engagement interview in 2017, Meghan spoke of her first meeting with Prince Harry’s beloved grandmother.
Meghan was asked if she had met the late Queen – as well as the late royal’s beloved corgis who “took to Meghan straight away”.
Speaking of his wife’s first meeting with the late Queen, Harry said: “The corgis took to you sstraight away!

“I’ve spent the last 33 years being barked at, and this one [Meghan] walks in, absolutely nothing”, reported the Mirror.
Discussing meeting the late Queen’s much-loved dogs, Meghan said: “[They were] just laying on my feet during tea, it was very sweet.”
In his bombshell memoir, Harry revealed that Meghan first met the late Queen at Royal Lodge – Prince Andrew’s home – in October 2016.
Harry also said that his then-girlfriend was quizzed by the late Queen about her opinion of Donald Trump, with him admitting that Meghan thought politics was a “no-win game” and quickly changed the conversation to Canada.
Meghan later shared that she had a great relationship with the late monarch. She said: “The Queen has always been wonderful to me.”
Meghan and Harry now live in the US with their two children, Archie, four, and Lilibet, two.
