Royal kids Archie and Lilibet will not feature in any of Harry and Meghan’s new Netflix projects

Harry and Meghan are set to release two new non-fiction series with Netflix, based on polo, gardening, and more.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s upcoming Netflix projects will explore their personal interests but will reportedly exclude their children, Archie and Lilibet.

The two new non-fiction series, announced last week, are part of the couple’s existing £80m deal with the streaming giant.

According to The Sun, their four-year-old son Archie and two-year-old daughter Lilibet will not be featured in the shows. Filming will also reportedly take place away from their California mansion.

Public appearances by the children have been rare, limited to official photos and a brief cameo in the couple’s 2022 Netflix documentary.

These new series come on the heels of the announcement of a film adaptation of “Meet Me At The Lake,” produced by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex themselves.

The book reportedly explores themes related to the couple’s own story, featuring a character with a parent who dies in a car crash, mirroring Harry’s mother, Princess Diana’s tragic death.

The project follows reports from The Daily Mail, stating that the Royal Family could face a dilemma if Prince Harry’s Invictus Games return to the UK, potentially requiring senior royals to choose between supporting the event and their stance to distance themselves from the Sussexes.

Prince Harry also recently expressed concerns about bringing his family, including his wife Meghan and their young children Archie and Lilibet, back to Britain. This stems from a recent legal ruling that reduced the level of taxpayer-funded security he receives during visits to the UK.

The Prince is reportedly seeking to appeal this decision to ensure their safety.
