Prince William shared a sweet selfie with Swift and his two eldest kids, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, backstage at the the singer’s Eras Tour show in London on the weekend.
The Prince of Wales was also spotted by royal fans having a boogie in the grandstand of Wembley Stadium as Swift performed in front of a crowd of almost 90,000 people.

Speaking to Sky News Australia, royal commentator Kinsey Schofield recalled how Swift was rumoured to have once snubbed an opportunity to appear on Meghan’s podcast Archetypes.
Asked how she thought the Wales’ recent meet-and-greet with Swift would land with the former Suits actress, Schofield claimed it showed the pop star has not sided with the Sussexes.
“If you recall, Meghan Markle hand wrote a letter to Taylor Swift asking her to appear on her podcast and Taylor had her people reach back out to Meghan and decline invitation,” Schofield told Rita Panahi on Monday night.
“Prince William and Taylor have a very good history, there’s a very funny of them in 2013 rocking out with Bon Jovi at a charity event,” Schofield continued.
“And I love that video of them dancing because it reminds me of him dancing to ‘Maneater’ at the concert for Diana years ago.
“I do think this is Taylor saying, ‘I’ve found a side, I’ve chosen a side,’ but I also think it’s a really good indication of what’s going on inside of the Wales’ home.”
Schofield thought the photo of Prince William and his two kids was also a positive sign of the mood at home amid Princess Catherine’s cancer diagnosis.
“It looks like they’re having fun, those smiles across the children’s’ faces were incredible,” she said.
“I think that there’s a lot healing going on at home which is good with everything that’s been happening with the Princess of Wales over the last six months.”
A source has since told Entertainment Tonight that Princess Charlotte, aged nine, was “the huge Taylor Swift fan in the family” and had hoped to go to the Eras Tour concert for months.
“They are really wonderful children. William and Kate have done a fantastic job raising all three of them,” the source said.
“They understand and appreciate how lucky they are meeting someone like Taylor Swift.”
Rumours ran rife last year that Swift turned down a personal invitation from Meghan to appear on her Archetypes podcast, responding through a representative on her behalf.
The speculation came as news broke that Spotify had torn up Meghan and Prince Harry’s $20 million podcast contract amid allegations the couple failed to meet output benchmarks.
Meghan and Harry now reportedly have other projects in the works for Netflix, including new cooking and polo shows.
