Prince George Channels Brother Louis’ Energy at Wimbledon Debut by Making Hilarious Faces

Being a kid sometimes means accompanying parents on errands or events you’re not interested in attending. Of course, that’s typical kid behavior and expected to some degree.

But when you’re a super famous kiddo, those moments of boredom and “wish I could be anywhere but here” energy don’t go unnoticed.

When Prince George made his Wimbledon debut, attending the event with parents Kate Middleton and Prince William, all eyes were on him. And he made sure to give people something to talk about by pulling some animated faces to have fun, or he was just genuinely bored.

Prince George channeled his brother, Prince Louis, during his outing.
Prince George surprised fans Sunday by attending the Wimbledon men’s final in the royal box with Kate and William. The royal, who is going to be turning 9 later this month, joined his parents to watch the gentlemen’s singles final between Serbia’s Novak Djokovic and Australia’s Nick Kyrgios.

He looked the part in his cute navy blazer with a striped tie and a white shirt.

Although his parents appeared to be having a great time, Prince George was a little harder to read.
George was seated between his parents, and he appeared to channel his little brother’s energy. Prince Louis went viral during outings with his parents for the Platinum Jubilee celebrations a few weeks ago because of the faces he was making during the event. Louis was photographed sticking his tongue out and having trouble sitting still.

Louis, who is 4 years old, was acting like a typical kid who didn’t want to be where he was, and he had trouble staying still for a few hours. But, of course, it’s not often we see any royal act “out of line” (aka, not “perfect,” even when it’s perfectly normal kid behavior), so the moment understandably went viral.

George is typically very stoic during outings, but not today.
While in the crowd watching the tennis match with his parents, George made several cute and hilarious faces. At various points, he had his finger up his nose, rolled his eyes, looked less than impressed, stuck out his tongue, and scrunched up his nose several times.

People were already thrilled to see George at his first Wimbledon match, so his cute faces were the icing on the cake for fans.

“Prince George hearing language today he never knew existed,” one person tweeted, joking that’s why George had a confused look on his face.

“Prince George is certainly loving Wimbledon life at the Men’s Final 2022 — look at those adorable faces! “another person tweeted. “Prince Louis has definitely has some competition in the cute expressions department!”

“So happy he hasn’t outgrown his cute facial expression,” another person tweeted.
