‘Dreamy’ Princess Kate is not fake like Meghan who has one expression, she’s natural & has ‘great bond’ with Wills
PRINCESS Kate was recently crowned the most popular royal – and this could be due to her exuding “warmth” and not appearing “fake”, according to a royal expert.
Royal editor Ingrid Seward exclusively told The Sun’s Royal Editor Matt Wilkinson why the Prince and Princess of Wales have resonated more with the public than Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Royal editor Ingrid Seward spoke to The Sun’s Matt Wilkinson for our Royal Show
On The Sun’s Royal Show, Ingrid claimed: “I think it’s the warmth between them [William and Kate] – it’s not fake and they give out warmth.
“And of course Kate is a photographer’s dream.
“She’s so beautiful and William’s a very good looking young man.
“And I think that it’s natural.
“You see with Meghan I feel she’s got one expression, the big grin, and I feel that’s all and that doesn’t feel natural.”
Ingrid shared how Kate and William possess the same “magic” that Princess Diana – dubbed the “People’s Princess” – did when meeting the public.
She continued: “With Kate and William it’s just a warmth they have and it sort of exudes to everybody around them which is the magic that Diana had.
“However nervous Diana was about meeting people or going out on her own, the minute she was out there she exuded this warmth and friendliness and that’s what Kate and William do.”
New YouGov data found Kate to be the most popular royal with 76 per cent of people viewing her positively, which is an increase of six per cent since January.
Prince William is the second most popular royal with a 73 per cent approval rating, Princess Anne was third (71 per cent), with King Charles coming in fourth
Prince Harry (31 per cent) and Meghan Markle (26 per cent) came below of the list, with only Prince Andrew (six per cent) below them in the table.
Royal expert Phil Dampier hailed Kate as the “box office star of the royal family”, with her absence being sorely missed with her recent health concerns.
The Princess of Wales, 42, has taken a break from royal duties following planned abdominal surgery in January, and her announcement that cancer has been found.

Last month, Kate discussed her “huge shock” at the discovery and said she began a course of “preventive chemotherapy” late in February.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex released a short statement following the announcement, which said: “We wish health and healing for Kate and the family and hope they are able to do so privately and in peace.”
It is understood the couple reached out to Kate and William after news broke of the mum-of-three’s diagnosis.
Kate’s announcement came just months after King Charles revealed on January 17 that he had been diagnosed with an enlarged prostate and was set to go to hospital.
At the time, the palace said his condition was “benign” and he would undergo “a corrective procedure”.
Kate was last seen on public duty on Christmas Day, and has been unable to carry out official engagements since having her operation in January.
She is unlikely to return until after April 17 when her children go back to Lambrook School, near Ascot, following the Easter holidays.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are currently living in Santa Barbara, California, with kids Prince Archie, four, and Princess Lilibet, after stepping own as senior working royals in 2020.
