‘Every detail will be checked’: Bombshell Meghan Markle documentary delayed while producers seek legal advice
A new documentary set to shine a light on Meghan Markle’s “colourful past” has been mysteriously delayed months after the Sussexes reportedly voiced concerns about the project.

An upcoming German documentary set to expose “secrets” from Meghan Markle’s life before Prince Harry has mysteriously been “put on hold”, it can be revealed.
The documentary has been produced by seasoned royal reporter Ulrike Grunewald for the ZDF network and will reportedly reveal bombshells about Meghan’s past prior to marrying Harry in 2018.
Ms Grunewald and her team reportedly travelled from Europe all the way to Montecito in California to speak to Harry and Meghan’s neighbours and get an inside glimpse into their private lives.
However, it was revealed on Sunday that the project is on ice for the time being while producers scramble to ensure allegations in the documentary are legally sound.
Meghan’s past will be explored in a new documentary but the project is on hold.
“The team wants to make sure that everything used on Meghan Markle is correct,” a source told the Express newspaper on Sunday.
“Every detail will be checked and double-checked to make sure that it is legally sound and factually correct.”
Possible interviewees could include the Sussexes’ elderly neighbour Frank McGinity, who has publicly slammed the couple as unneighbourly after they rebuffed his attempts at friendship and left him standing at their front gate.
An insider revealed the Sussexes are even more worried about possible embarrassing information about Meghan’s former life coming to light in the documentary.
Meghan left the legal drama series ahead of her wedding to Prince Harry.
“There are many things that both of them, especially Meghan, don’t necessarily want in the public domain,” an insider told OK magazine in May after the project was announced.
“It’s no secret that they both led colourful lives before they met each other, and while Harry has spoken about a lot of mistakes in his book, there are still things about Meghan we don’t know.”
Prior to marrying Harry, Meghan was a successful actress who appeared on the popular legal drama series Suits for eight seasons before departing the show ahead of her royal wedding.

The Duchess of Sussex also wed film producer Trevor Engelson in 2011 before splitting two years later and finalised their divorce in 2014 due to “irreconcilable differences”.
“Harry and Meghan are now desperate to leave everything in the past as they want to start afresh, and I think Harry will fear that their new happiness could be ruined if Meghan’s past is investigated,” the OK source claimed.
