Prince Harry and Meghan’s criticism of the Royal Family has only brought the King, the Queen, the Prince and the Princess of Wales closer together, Lady Colin Campbell has said.
Harry and Meghan quit their roles as senior royals in January 2020 and have since criticised the Royal Family heavily in varying interviews and Harry’s book Spare.
Speaking to GBN America Lady C said: “I mean, they have become tighter than was ever foreseeable or possible.
“Because they’re all very decent, family orientated and loving people who want everything to go as well as it can. They’re very positive, the four of them.
“All this adversity, not only the health issues, but all of the problems with Harry and Meghan has brought them all together.
When asked if Charles is likely to build bridges with his youngest son Lady C said: “Even if Charles were inclined to have some private rapprochement with Harry, there is no way they are going to want an official role for either Harry or Meghan.
“They understand that would be drinking poison from a chalice that they can well avoid drinking from.”
GBN America Host Nana Akua also asked the commentator if she believes that Harry and Meghan “regret” their choice to step away from the royals.
The Royal commentator explained: “I don’t think Meghan is capable of regret, she isn’t Kate.
“Her personality type is not that of somebody who learns from their mistake and she blames everybody else for her errors.
“She’s tried every trick in the book to keep herself absolved of all responsibility. I’ve been told that she is enraged by the situation because no matter what she does, it flops.
“No matter what Catherine does, even when she does nothing, it succeeds. And I mean, that’s infuriating for her personal life.
“You see, it was it wasn’t only about the position, it was about the money. Meghan came into the Royal Family with the expectation that she would be able to milk those udders and that she was going to be able to end up having a billionaire lifestyle.”
In her latest health update announced to the world, Princess Kate revealed she has begun “preventative” treatment after a test found cancer had been present, following her procedure.
The King has also been diagnosed with a form of cancer and a source told The Sun: “They are very close and he thinks of Catherine as his daughter.
“There is no doubt there is a lot they can share and can use each other for support during their own deeply personal cancer battles.”
