Meghan Markle slipped on a special accessory celebrating her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, on day three of her visit to Colombia with Prince Harry.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited Escuela Tambores de Cabildo, a local drum school in Cartagena preserving the art form of traditional African drumming, on Aug. 17.
As the couple participated in a drum circle and danced to the music, Meghan was spotted wearing a gold necklace from her jewelry box with a tribute to their two kids.
Meghan, 43, wore her “Imperial Disc Pendant” by Ariel Gordon Jewelry, which is personalized with “Archie” and “Lilibet.” She’s worn the piece on several occasions before, including a lunch date with friends in August 2023 and her pasta and wine outing with Kimberly Williams-Paisley in Montecito last month, according to the brand.
This isn’t the first time Meghan has honored Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lili, 3, with her jewelry choices. She previously wore a necklace featuring the letter “A” to Wimbledon in 2019, just months after her son was born, and also owns necklaces featuring the children’s zodiac signs, which she sported during her 40th birthday video (also starring Melissa McCarthy!).

Earlier on the Colombia trip, Meghan had her children at the forefront of her mind as the couple visited a kindergarten class. Speaking Spanish, she told one student, “You’re the same age as my son, Archie!”
The Duchess of Sussex doubled up on necklaces for the outing at the drum school, pairing her tribute to her children with a collar necklace by Cartier.

She also wore a matching top and maxi skirt set by Colombian-born designer Johanna Ortiz, marking the second time she’s donned the brand during the visit to South America. Ortiz became a go-to label for Meghan even before visiting the designer’s home country, previously sporting multiple dresses from the brand during her May 2024 visit to Nigeria and at the Ms. Foundation Women of Vision Awards in New York City last year, when she wore a strapless gold dress as she took the stage.
The bio on Ortiz’s website states that she has “always gravitated to the beauty and lushness of her native country. The tropical jungles, evergreen mountain ranges and myriad palm trees danced in her dreams where her creativity was awoken. In an urgent need to express the richness of her view, she decided to use fashion as the canvas for her vision.”
