Kate and William ‘considering renovation of property’ amid Princess of Wales’s cancer treatment
Kate and William are “considering a renovation of their property” amid the Princess of Wales’s cancer treatment, royal sources have claimed.
Plans to update and expand a redbrick annexe next to the Prince and Princess of Wales’s home, Adelaide Cottage, are reportedly being drafted by the couple.
The family of five now divide their time between their Anmer Hall retreat on the Sandringham Estate and the four-bedroom Windsor home they moved into in the summer of 2022.

Sources have claimed the family is considering expanding an empty annexe to help the princess cope during her cancer treatment.
However, Prince William, 41, is “conscious of public scrutiny” over royal spending and is adopting a measured approach, according to the insiders.
A source claimed: “They [William and Kate] absolutely adore Adelaide Cottage, but it just about fits the entire family, whereas Anmer Hall is much larger with extensive grounds.
“Adelaide Cottage is being used as a term time property while the children are at school nearby and Anmer Hall is for long weekends and holidays.”

According to the insider, preparations are underway to refurbish a run-down redbrick annexe at Adelaide Cottage, turning it into a retreat customised to the requirements of the Wales family and their employees.
Those preparations are reportedly waiting for the ideal moment to be implemented.
The source continued to tell OK!: “Nobody knows that there is quite a spacious red-brick annexe building that’s not being used next door to Adelaide Cottage.
“It’s currently uninhabitable and needs extensive renovation works if it were to be used.
