Kate Middleton makes surprising update on Instagram: ‘Shows emotional connection’

Kate, Princess of Wales shared a post on social media that likely reflects an emotional connection as she continues to undergo chemotherapy.
Kate Middleton has popped up on Instagram to share an update about the Natural History Museum.

The Waleses are selective about what they post online – it’s few and far inbetween – making it exciting for royal fans when they do share news.

The museum debuted two new gardens, which Kate most likely would have attended in-person if she weren’t on medical leave. Instead, she showed her support via Instagram, as noted by From Berkshire to Buckingham’s Jane Barr.

Barr has a feeling the reason is two-fold, that Kate has a strong connection with the museum and with nature.

She added: “I am guessing this highlights the relative seniority that this particular patronage holds and that it dovetails with the Waleses’ broader environmental theme.

“I am guessing it also underscores the heightened emotional connection she has to the cause, in light of her ongoing cancer experience.”
