Wimbledon final is the second event Kate has attended since revealing her cancer diagnosis

Kate was not able to make the women’s final on Saturday but she will present the men’s trophy to the victor in today’s clash between Carlos Alcaraz and Novac Djokovic. The princess, who carried out the duty in 2023, is known to be a tennis lover and an amateur player of the game.

Meanwhile the Prince of Wales will be in Berlin to cheer on England in the final of the Euros. Prince William urged the England men’s team to “go out there and show the world what you’re made of” in their match against Spain.

The palace confirmed Kate was stepping back from her royal duties in March, after the princess released a surprise video on social media to share her cancer diagnosis. She is now undergoing preventative treatment.

What time is Princess Kate expected at Wimbledon?
The Princess of Wales will attend the Wimbledon gentlemen’s singles final today to present the trophy to the winner.

While the match between Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic is expected to get going at 2pm, it is not yet clear whether Princess Kate will attend from the start or whether she will just present the trophy.

Last year’s final between the pair was a thrilling five-set match that lasted four hours and 42 minutes – the third-longest Wimbledon final in history.

Those in the Royal Box at Wimbledon can come in and out in the breaks between every few games and between sets.
