Speaking to Fabulous, Phil said: “Prince Harry once described Catherine as the sister he never had and they were incredibly close.
“So one of the saddest aspects of Megxit is the fact that they no longer speak.”
Phil, author of Royally Suited: Harry and Meghan in their own words, claims Prince Harry “cruelly betrayed Kate” in his bombshell biography Spare.
The explosive memoir claimed Kate made Meghan Markle cry over her bridesmaid dresses – not the only way round – and also that William and Kate had encouraged him to dress up as a Nazi.
The royal author claims that Prince Harry has also shown little public support following Princess Kate’s cancer diagnosis.
Phil added: “As The Princess of Wales has been recovering from cancer we have heard precious little in terms of public support from Harry and Meghan.
“It may be that they have made contact privately but I wouldn’t hold my breath.
“If there was a willingness by Harry to support Kate and of course William he could have made a move to apologise for some of his outbursts and made the effort to come over and spend some time with them.
“But the fact he hasn’t speaks volumes.”
Prince Harry flew to the UK in May for a four-day visit which included attending an Invictus event, but he didn’t see King Charles, who is also having cancer treatment, Prince William or Princess Kate.
Duke of Westminster’s wedding exposed Harry & William’s brutal rift – one encounter would’ve been excruciating, says pro
Phil added: “The trust between all parties has long since gone and I don’t see any chance of a reconciliation in the near future.
“William and Kate must feel deeply hurt by what Harry has done and whatever his past grievances there was no excuse for turning them into a money making industry.”
Prince Harry also criticised his family in his Harry & Meghan documentary.
In the Netflix series, Harry said: “I think for so many people in the family, especially the men, there could be a temptation or an urge to marry someone who would fit the mould as opposed to someone you are destined to be with.
