Meghan Markle Allegedly Sees Herself As A Modern Princess Diana As Feud With Royals Deepens

That Suits actress has been vocal about the mistreatment she allegedly faced while living in the U.K. before she and Harry left their royal duties and relocated to California. Harry has admitted the media’s treatment of his wife reminded him of how his mother, Princess Diana, was treated before she died in a car crash while escaping paparazzi, and it appears Markle, too, sees similarities between herself and Princess Diana.

Speaking to The Mirror, royal author Tom Quinn alleges that Markle is carefully planning her next career moves. He claims the actress plans to announce a lifestyle brand soon on the coattails of Kate Middleton’s cancer announcement.

The royal experts claims that Markle thinks the timing will work in her favor given the public’s preference for her, as she apparently sees herself as Princess Diana’s successor, at least in terms of reputation and public image.

“Meghan has calculated that the Kate health mystery and King Charles’ illness mean there is more attention on the Royal Family than usual, and that she might be able to benefit from some of that attention,” Quinn claimed.

“It’s really significant that Meghan‘s new American Riviera Orchard brand was launched on the same date as the Diana award – Meghan has always seen herself as Diana’s heir,” he continued.

They author added, “She sees herself as suffering because of the media, just as she feels Diana suffered, but on this side of the pond at least, there will be a huge amount of criticism that she is just trying to cash in on Diana’s legacy.”

Harry And Meghan Both Allegedly Want Acting Careers

Harry and Meghan have been facing reports of financial woes for months. Markle has seemingly been trying to launch an acting comeback, but with minimal success. Some theories suggest she’s also interested in building her social media audience to get more financial and career opportunities.

While some reports claim Harry is likewise just as motivated to solidify a career in the entertainment industry (some rumors say he even wants to act on T.V.), there have also been claims that he’s thinking about returning to the U.K. given his father King Charles’ cancer news. But it appears he and Meghan may have conflicting opinions about the future of their family, as she doesn’t seem keen on returning to England, especially given her past comments about the royals.
