Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s ‘excuse’ to return to Royal Family is ‘perfect way back’
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle already have the golden ticket to getting back in with King Charles and the Royal Family – Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet
Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet might just be the golden ticket for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to mend fences with the Royal Family, a Royal commentator has suggested.
The Sussexes have been tipped to use 2024 as an opportunity to rebuild bridges with the royals, and this strategy is seen as increasingly pivotal for the Duke.
GB News presenter Patrick Christys discussed the potential Royal reconciliation with expert Kinsey Schofield in January, suggesting that the couple could “surely use the grandkids as a way back” into the Windsor fold. Schofield concurred, labelling it the “perfect” route back into the monarchy’s good graces.
Kinsey Schofield said: “If Harry did want a way back in he could use the excuse that despite his personal beef with King Charles, he wants his children to have a relationship with their grandfather, it would be the perfect way back wouldn’t it?”
She also recalled a telling incident: “Well don’t forget according to reports when Prince Harry received the phone call that he was being evicted from Frogmore Cottage, he said to his father ‘don’t you want to see your grandkids anymore?” According to the Express, Schofield added: “So you are exactly right if there is a way in, Harry is already thinking about it.”
Despite the family rift, Prince Harry has made two brief visits to the UK this year, including one in February following news of King Charles’s cancer diagnosis. On both occasions, Harry travelled without Meghan, who stayed behind in the US with Archie and Lilibet.
Princess Lilibet is now aged three and has only visited the UK once
The young Sussexes have had limited exposure to the UK, with Lilibet’s first and only visit occurring in June 2022. Archie, unlike his sister, was born in the UK in 2019 and relocated to America when he was less than a year old. The family of four now resides in an opulent £12million mansion in Montecito, California.
During Prince Harry’s latest visit to Britain in May, one expert strongly suggested that it was not very likely for the Duke to bring his children back home due to a single reason. As revealed by the Mirror, Royal insider Hannah Furness hypothesises that Meghan’s choice to remain behind is fueled by concerns about safety measures.
Hannah shared her thoughts during an episode of A Right Royal Podcast, stating: “There is quite a heavy narrative that Meghan and the children won’t be coming back until they can resolve this security issue to their liking. But [Harry] will certainly be coming and going.”
