Prince George is said to take after his mum, the Princess of Wales with one very impressive skill.
Prince George is following in his mum, the Princess of Wales’s footsteps with his impressive talent in painting.
The young royal, who will turn 11 in July, also takes after both his paternal grandfather and late great-grandfather with this skill.
Back in December 2022, a then-nine-year-old George thrilled royal fans with a very festive watercolour painting of a reindeer.
The painting was posted on the Prince and Princess of Wales’s official Instagram page and quickly caught the eye of impressed fans.
The comment section was brimming with heaps of praise for the young royal, with one fan commenting: “You have a budding artist there!!”
Another fan also pointed out that George was “like King Charles!” with his newfound skill.
Speaking to HELLO!, Hannah Dale – who inspired George’s painting – said: “He’s obviously got talent.
“He has an eye for form and colour. It was lovely. It was really lovely to see.”
Further praising the young royal, Hannah added: “I think having a love of animals and love of nature is obviously something that’s maybe captured his attention. That inspires me very much.

“It’s a real privilege to inspire any child to want to draw or paint. It was a really lovely compliment.”
The Princess of Wales also shares her eldest son’s love of painting, having studied history of art at the University of St Andrews.
Back in 2021, an impressive landscape painting by Kate was unveiled. Fans were undoubtedly impressed with the mother-of-three’s talent.
The caption of the post read: “To the people, communities and organisations we visited and heard from; and those who stopped to wave and make our return to Scotland so special – thank you!”

King Charles is also a talented painter, with his work first showcased in Windsor Castle in 1977.
In 2022, 70 of his watercolour paintings were displayed at The Garrison Chapel in London.
Showcasing his love for painting, the late Prince Philip gave Princess Eugenie a painting as a wedding gift.
