Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ‘super respectful’ of William and Kate’s need for space
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are said to be ‘respectful’ of Prince William and Catherine’s need for space as the Princess of Wales undergoes treatment for cancer
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are “super respectful” of Prince William’s and Catherine’s need for space and don’t want to “add stress” to the situation, a source has claimed.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who have been at odds with the Prince and Princess of Wales for years, want to give William and Catherine time amid her cancer battle, the source said.
Since Harry and Meghan stepped down as senior royals and moved to the US, where they now live with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, they issued a number of attacks towards the Firm through TV interviews, shows, and in the duke’s memoir, Spare, which was published in January 2023.
But since Catherine’s cancer diagnosis, the Waleses are said to want a “truce” for the sake of their children. However, according to commentators, a potential reunion of the Fab Four might take some time, and royal experts believe Harry will meet his father, King Charles, next week but not his brother William.

A source told Us Weekly: “The Duke and Duchess [of Sussex] want to be super respectful and don’t want to add stress to the situation. If Will and Kate want their space, Meghan and Harry will give it to them.”
After Catherine’s cancer diagnosis was shared publicly, Harry and Meghan sent her their best wishes. They said: “We wish health and healing for Kate and the family, and hope they are able to do so privately and in peace.”
An insider said Catherine’s diagnosis “put things into perspective” for the Prince and Princess of Wales and it has been reported that the two brothers are now “open” to a meeting. Catherine is also said to be “done with all the bad blood” and is “willing” to talk to her brother-in-law, Harry.

Royal fans are now hoping for a reunion between William, 41, and Harry, 39, when the Duke of Sussex travels to London for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games next week. But according to royal experts, a reunion is still up in the area, even though Harry is expected to meet his father, King Charles, while in the UK.
An insider claimed that Harry’s visit to the UK could serve as an olive branch, revealing that the Duke has tried to contact his family to invite them to the Invictus Games event. The source told Us Weekly that even though William and Harry “haven’t spoken, there is potential for that” as they added: “[Harry] would be more than happy [to].”

The source also said William and Catherine hope to get back on good terms with Harry and Meghan so that their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis can form a bond with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. Harry and Meghan are said to feel the same way.
They added: “They want a relationship with Meghan and Harry, and they don’t want the acrimony to carry over to the next generation. Obviously, the Duke and Duchess want their kids to have a relationship with their cousins.”
