Prince William left unimpressed by Jack Whitehall’s five-word joke about Princess Kate

Prince William was left unimpressed by Jack Whitehall’s joke about his wife, Princess Kate.
The comedian went to school with the Princess of Wales and once told King Charles and Queen Camilla when he was performing at the Royal Variety Performance that she was “the one that got away”.
This was then reported back to the Prince of Wales who was in attendance at the following year’s show and during an interview with Talksport Whitehall revealed William had approached him, grabbed his hand hard and said: “Apparently you’ve been chatting up my missus”.
It comes after the prince took aim at Whitehall again yesterday on a visit to St Michael’s Church of England High School in Rowley Regis, Sandwell when he was asked to tell a dad joke.
He answered: “I’ve been asked to produce a dad joke so I’m trying to channel Jack Whitehall, because most of his jokes are pretty dad-like.

“I think what I’ll do, is I’ll say a joke which is Charlotte’s favourite joke at the moment, she keeps telling me.”
After learning of William’s cheeky dig, Whitehall took to Twitter saying: “Rinsed by the future king.”
The joke, the royal decided to tell was Prince Charlotte’s favourite about an interrupting cow, others around the table asked him “what interrupting cow?” to which William replied with a predictable “moo”.
The Prince of Wales added: “That’s one I hear a lot at home at the moment.”
Some laughed and others groaned at the quip, but William insisted it was the best joke he could think of that was “clean” and “broadcast-able”.
The prince was visiting the school as a surprise for 12-year-old Freddie who wrote to him asking him to visit and see the work he and fellow pupils were doing.
