A royal commentator has claimed Princess Catherine was “very clever” to share a photograph of her youngest son Prince Louis on social media amid concerns from fans the six-year-old was left out of attending major sporting events on the weekend.
Princess Catherine received a standing ovation from the crowd as she emerged in the grandstand at the Wimbledon men’s final on Sunday alongside her daughter Princess Charlotte.
Meanwhile, her husband Prince William and son Prince George made a big sporting appearance of their own, cheering on England at the Euro 2024 final in Berlin.

Speculation soon buzzed however about the whereabouts of Prince Louis, with some royal fans disheartened to not see the six-year-old at either of the events with his parents or siblings.
The Princess of Wales however soon shared a sweet photo on social media platform X of the young Prince and his sister watching the England vs Spain game on Sunday, local time.
Speaking to GBN America, former royal correspondent Michael Cole claimed Kate made a strategic move releasing the image of Prince Louis amid fears he had missed out on the fun.
“Of course everybody was asking, what’s happened to the youngest child, Louis, six? Is he being deprived?” Cole said, noting the speculation from fans.
“And so the Princess Kate was very clever. She issued a photograph of the two royal children, Charlotte and Louis, sitting watching the England game from Berlin.”
Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte could be seen in the photograph wearing England football jerseys with their ages and first names printed on the back of the tshirts.
The two children appeared to be sitting together on a plush dark green couch while watching the broadcast on television.
“England, your teamwork, grit and determination were an inspiration to all of us, young and old. Congratulations to Spain,” the caption read.
Cole claimed the image showed that Prince Louis was “not entirely shut out from things” on the weekend.
The former royal commentator added it was “great” to see Prince William and Prince George “really getting into” the UEFA European Football Championship.
“This was not a duty for them, this was something they love,” Cole said.
“Prince William has always been a good footballer. He played football at Eton and he loves the game. He is president of the Football Association.”
Princess Catherine’s appearance at Wimbledon marked her second big public outing since revealing her cancer diagnosis earlier this year.
The adoring crowd erupted in cheers, rising to their feet as the 42-year-old made her way into the royal box with Princess Charlotte and sister Pippa Matthews.
