Princess Kate to have ‘minimal exposure’ during return to Royal Family duties qt3-3 minutes

Princess Kate is set for “minimised exposure” following her prolonged absence from public life, a health expert has claimed.

The Princess of Wales recorded a video in March, telling viewers that she had begun a course of preventative chemotherapy in March.

This followed Kate, 42, being hospitalised at The London Clinic for 13 days in January, where she underwent planned abdominal surgery.

Senior Therapist Sally Baker spoke exclusively to GB News, explaining what type of engagements Kate will likely perform when she returns to work.

Kate has been recuperating in private at Adelaide Cottage

She said: “Short visits, preferably low pressure with either small groups of people met in private.

“Press attention will be heightened after her extended leave of absence from public duty.

“Therefore, the Royal Family will be attentive to minimising her exposure.”

When Kate announced her diagnosis, she stressed the need to recuperate in private.

The princess said: “William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family.

“As you can imagine, this has taken time. It has taken me time to recover from major surgery in order to start my treatment.

“But, most importantly, it has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louis in a way that is appropriate for them, and to reassure them that I am going to be ok.”

Kate later added: “We hope that you will understand that, as a family, we now need some time, space and privacy while I complete my treatment.

Prince William is currently taking care of Kate and the three Wales children at Adelaide Cottage

Princess Kate is not expected to return to royal duties until she has fully recovered

“My work has always brought me a deep sense of joy and I look forward to being back when I am able, but for now I must focus on making a full recovery.”

The Prince and Princess of Wales moved to Adelaide Cottage in the summer of 2022 with Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, six.

As well as recuperating at her Windsor home, Princess Kate spent a fair amount of time at Anmer Hall.

This is William and Kate’s countryside mansion in Norfolk, where they often spend holidays with the three children.
