Kate, the Princess of Wales has won a battle with American celebrities as royal fans have all pointed out the same thing.
Prior to her shocking cancer diagnosis that was revealed last month, various celebrities joked that the Princess of Wales was “missing” as she had not been publicly seen since Christmas Day.
Stephen Colbert, Andy Cohen and Kim Kardashian were just three of the celebrities who joined in on the conspiracy theories circulating over the whereabouts of the royal mother-of-three – with such celebrities now coming under fire.
It has now been revealed that a two third of royal fans believe that such well-known faces should apologise to Princess Kate.
An exclusive poll for Newsweek by Redfield & Wilton shows that 59 percent of fans believe that the celebrities should offer the royal an apology.
In the poll – which saw 4,000 adults polled – only nine percent disagreed that the celebrities should apologise, as reported by Newsweek.
Of those polled, 24 percent neither agreed nor disagreed over whether Kate deserved an apology.
The Princess of Wales’s cancer was discovered through post-operative tests, with the royal having undergone unrelated abdominal surgery back in January.
According to the poll, 52 percent believe that no further information should be released about Kate’s diagnosis.

In her emotional address, Princess Kate revealed that her diagnosis had come as a shock to her and her family.
Speaking directly to the camera, Kate said: “This of course came as a huge shock, and William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family.”
The mother-of-three also asked the public to respect her need for “time, space and privacy”.

Princess Kate has been away from public view since Christmas Day
Speaking of her diagnosis, Kate said: “In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London and at the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous. The surgery was successful. However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present.
“My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of that treatment.”
The Princess of Wales has not attended any major royal events since Christmas Day and will continue to concentrate on her recovery for the foreseeable future.
