Meghan Markle ‘fears her network crumbling’ as she ‘desperately tries to keep Beyoncé on side’

Meghan Markle is said to be trying to keep Beyoncé close after reports some of her celebrity social circle was crumbling, with the Duchess of Sussex reportedly worried about her dwindling roster of famous pals

While Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were once mixing with some of the biggest names in showbiz royalty, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s social circle is said to be shrinking.

Bonds with the likes of Victoria and David Beckham are already said to have shattered after the pair reportedly accused Posh and Becks of leaking information to the press – a claim that’s said to have infuriated the power couple.

Former BFF Jessica Mulroney is also said to be no longer part of her close-knit group of friends despite playing a huge role in the lavish wedding of Harry and Meghan in 2018.

Now, however, it’s claimed Meghan is desperately trying to remain close with one A-list star – Beyonce. Meghan was recently spotted in a tracksuit while filming in Beverly Hills, leading to suggestions the pair were set for a collaboration.

However, it’s thought Meghan was simply trying to send a message to Bey to keep her on side. A source told Heat Magazine: “With practically every other famous friend distancing themselves from her and Harry, Meghan is understandably worried that their Hollywood network is falling apart, and Bey is the most well known of the few stars who will still associate with her. She feels she needs her support to save the Sussex brand.”

The insider added Meghan is “really going for it” in her bid to please the Single Ladies singer and claimed she is also trying to forge a friendship with Beyonce’s younger sibling, Solange. While the Sussexes have had a number of setbacks with their projects in recent months – including the axing of their huge Spotify deal – they are continuing to produce material to share. Alongside her new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, the former Suits star has recently been filming her cooking programme for Netflix.

Harry is also getting in front of the camera for a series surrounding his favourite sport, polo. It comes as the pair’s contract with the streaming giants seemingly was under threat as it nears the end. Previously, they’ve released a look into their private life with a six-part docu-series titled Harry & Meghan.
